The name BugbrainED is significant. The "ED" at the end means that our apps are oriented around educational, core standards for reading and math. (See Link on right) The "brain" signifies that these are courses that teach and will challenge your child to learn. "Bug" shows that the courses use bugs to provide a whimsical and fun approach to learning.
These courses are created by educational professionals, including reading specialists, with many years of experience working with struggling readers.
Al Viera, President: He has over 30 years in business and education, mostly in high tech. He has a BA in Education as well as tremendous experience managing businesses of all sizes.
Beverly Miner, Vice-President of Content: She is celebrating her 30th year in education as a literacy specialist at Vineyard Elementary. Bev has a Masters in Education with an Emphasis on Literacy and has taught in all grades K-8.
Gary Moser, a contributor at Bugbrained, currently teaches fourth grade in Utah. Gary received his Ed.D in Reading. Gary has been teaching for over 20 years and helped many children finally achieve grade level.
Misty Rocha, a contributor at Bugbrained, is a Math Specialist in her local school district. She has ten years of experience working with early elementary grades.
